City in the Community Launch Two New Programmes

93:20 Volunteer Programme

CITC 93:20 is a long-term volunteer programme delivered in partnership with Hays that provides skills, experiences, qualifications and pathways into employment and education both within CITC and across our network of partner organisations.

93:20 is a direct reference to the last minutes of the final game of the season on 13th May 2012 where Manchester City became top league winners for the first time in 44 years. The team overcame an extraordinary set of circumstances with strength, stamina and belief that culminated in one of the most dramatic and inspiring days of English football. The moment is an iconic one for everyone associated with the club and reminds us of key values.

As part of the 93:20 programme you will be assigned a mentor who is a CITC staff member across various departments, you will be placed at a Community Outreach or Early Years Community session weekly and will reflect with your mentor regularly to measure yourself against the programme competencies.

The programme will also include a series of Masterclasses, exclusively for the 93:20 Volunteers, helping you to improve your skills and knowledge in many different areas.
